Dr. Jessica Castillo

Dr. Jessica Castillo grew up in Southwest Florida and moved to the Chicagoland area to attend Northwestern University, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in Biology, with a concentration in neurobiology, and Psychology. She went on to attend dental school at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. Upon graduation, Dr. Castillo was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society in recognition of academic excellence. She then pursued advanced specialty training in Periodontics at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, where she also earned a master’s degree, completing a thesis focused on single-cell analysis of different cell types in periodontitis.

Dr. Castillo is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Midwest Society of Periodontology, Chicago Dental Society, and Illinois State Dental Society. She is licensed in the state of Illinois and is board-eligible with the American Academy of Periodontology.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Castillo enjoys exploring Chicago’s neighborhoods, trying new restaurants, running, and reading.
