Dr. Fatima Qamar
Dr. Fatima Qamar was born and raised in Pakistan. After moving to the United States, she graduated as valedictorian of her class at the University of Houston, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Philosophy. She went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City.
Dr. Qamar continued her training with two years of General Practice Residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she served as Chief Resident during her second year. She then advanced her dental education by completing a residency in Periodontics and earning a master’s degree at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry.
When she is not treating patients or learning the intricacies of periodontics, Dr. Qamar enjoys spending time with her husband, Jaffar, and their beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Kofta.
